MY WORK

Benoît Eclache is a leadership coach and IT consultant who believes that meaningful connections generate greater empathy and more effective collaboration. A forerunner in the Reinventing Work movement, Benoît is an active advocate for more human-centred, purposeful workplaces.

Benoît’s jam is finding new ways to work smarter, allowing us to better manage our brain-space, thus minimizing “busy work” to enable greater capacity for creativity and innovation.

As a Business Administration graduate from HEC Montréal with a focus on Human Resources and Finance, it was only a matter of time before Benoît pivoted into leadership development. He is a graduate of Concordia University’s Molson School of Business Executive Education Program as a Certified Professional and Personal Coach.

Benoît is a generalist, a reader, and a troubleshooter, known to his teammates as the “human Google” because of the breadth of his knowledge and ability to apply it to help people problem-solve. This coupled with his IT experience and a keen interest in social innovation means Benoît is never happier than when working with people to help them find new ways to tackle social issues, using technology to empower effective communications between teams and enhance efficiency. His experience working with computer systems has shown him that good human relations and collaboration are at the heart of any successful organization and that, when used wisely, technology is a powerful tool to foster relationships and collaboration between people.

He coaches social entrepreneurs and small business owners to create structure from chaos and clarity from confusion, in order to design solutions to the challenges they face, and take brave steps to move forward in pursuit of their goals.

When he’s not consulting with social innovators and change-makers, Benoît enjoys volunteering with refugees and new immigrants to Canada, and is most in his element when coaching adolescents and young adults who - despite the challenges they face - never cease to see a world of possibilities before them.

A French native, now based in Montréal, Benoît has also lived in the Czech Republic and Nigeria. Travelling internationally has taught him that, despite our cultural differences, we are all profoundly connected through our common humanity.

Benoît speaks French and English.
